Our Team.

Sam is a nurse by profession but randomly fell into the event industry in 2020 when she was looking for a change from the bedside nursing she had been doing for 13 years.  She started the mobile bartending and quickly learned the ropes of planning, got ordained to officiate weddings, and then learned the behind the scenes stuff - even managing a few event companies social medias.  She loves creating content and bringing fresh ideas where ever she goes.  She is passionate about making sure events go off without a hitch and is always willing to go the extra mile.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies.

Robert Potter is a Sarasota/Bradenton native who graduated in 2016 with a film degree from Ringling College of Art and Design. After many years working in the film industry in Los Angeles, he has moved back to Sarasota to pursue a variety of different interests. Currently, he works as a substitute teacher for Manatee County, but loves helping PlanIT Events with food prep, taste testing, installing balloons, and manning events whenever he can. When he’s not working, he can be found playing video games and playing D&D. 

Reid comes to us as a graduate from the Rosen College of Hospitality at the University of Central Florida. He is former Event Manager at Coopers Hawk Winery in Sarasota, and has produced events for the MLB, NFL, and more.
He currently also works as the On Field Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Along with event management skills, Reid is an expert baker and has been perfecting many of his personal recipes for PlanIT Events.
He is currently pursuing his Masters Degree.

Chris' day job is with Flowers Baking Co. as a Director of Manufacturing Support; however,  don't let this title fool you - he is also our lead staff for PlanIT every weekend and can be seen assisting with balloon setups, making deliveries, and in the kitchen cooking his famous crab cakes!

When Chris isn't working he enjoys spending time with family, playing D&D, grilling, theme parks, and spending time with his dogs.

He loves working at PlanIT and helping his wife Evan with all events. 

Sandy is an awesome PlanIT Team Member who loves people! She is great doing kitchen prep for catering and many times you'll find her serving and tending to our guests. Sandy enjoys working with everyone and has a heart of gold!
